I figured this strange little french tank would be a good choice for a quick group build.

Kit looks pretty straight forward and is only 4 main sprues:

The casting detail is pretty nice for such a small tank:

The figures face detail is pretty impressive for a non resin kit:

The tracks aren't amazing, but they are so small it doesn't feel worth doing an aftermarket set like friuls:

At least they have some sag built in. The supplied decals look pretty decent, but the camo pattern looks like it will be an absolute nightmare to paint:


Im not even sure where to start with painting a pattern like that so if anyone has any tips or videos let me know.

Excellent! The mud on the front transmission casing sure hid the issues with that French roundel that you mentioned earlier. Pretty much hid the roundel altogether!
This in one thing I love about armor — you can slap down some mud or dirt or glue down some random piece of gear to hide your most egregious sins, and get complimented for doing a realistic job to boot!
