With the down time, what better way to set the assembly line up with three T-38 builds. Two will be the Wolfpack 1/48 T-38C kits with the new Martin Baker MK.16 seats and resin exhaust. One will be depicting the plane a friend had to eject from in August 2018. The other tail will be of the jet that crashed at Vance last year that killed both pilots. The plan is to give both of those away. The paint scheme will be the current two tone gray scheme.
The third plane is Trumpeters 1/48 T-38A and markings will be for Reece AFB (Lubock TX) for which two friends trained there. Not sure if I will hang on to that one or give it away/ It will be in the classic all white scheme.
It seems it's a pretty consistent theme about what "Trumpeter get's wrong!"
Left fuselage is the Trumpeter kit and the right two are from Wolfpack. Interesting enough one of the companies got the length wrong....I believe Wolfpack is closer to being accurate.
