I have always contended the manufacturers have got to develope products such as this instrument panel, to expedite the building of models. With increased number of parts in new kits and build time required to build, this will decrese the build time, increase modeler satisfaction which will expedite the purchasing of new kits. I believe the kit manufacturers have a shrinking market due to numerous factors, like aging modelers and not the same number of young modelers coming to the hobby and in general, other things competing for a person's spare time. It is products such as this instrument panel, possible side panels, and better kit engineering for fitment which expedite build times. How many kits have you expended alot of extra time to build because of manufacturing flaws, engineering oversight, which includes making a bunch of small parts unnecessarily just to make the kits part-count look attractive. With today's cad/cam and manufactuing techniques kits should go together with less frustration and less time. At the price of most new kits, I do not feel this is to much for us to require of the kit manufactures.
While I have your attention I would like to also say that we have enough, 109's, 190's, P51's, Tiger tanks and Panther tanks, I sure you can add some also. I would like to ask for some new fresh subjects.
