First off the bat in the build (which oddly enough is not an aircraft) is a fun build of the iconic cold war movies. Match up of the Soviet Typhoon class sub against the US LA class sub. The LA class sub in this build will not the the USS Dallas as depicted in the film but the USS Chicago (SSN-721)

It's been awhile since the club launched a group build, so we decided at the May meeting to launch a new one!  Subject: The Cold War.  It is pretty encompassing, as it will include any subject from the time period 1947 - 1991 (when the Berlin wall fell).  And - there will be a club vote for the winn

OK, I have choices. These may be my top ones but I still may change my mind. The C-130E has the Fulton recovery nose and will be in flight. Maybe scratch build the hoist and display recovering a downed personnel. F-104C would be of a friends plane that flew in Vietnam, SEA camo U-2 OOB LA class sub
