CATEGORY SPLITS

Categories can be split at the discretion of the Judging Committee while the contest is in progress, in order to better balance the composition of the categories. In general, categories would be split according to the following guidelines:

• For the new category, there must be three or more entries by at least two different modelers.

• The original category from which these models are removed still needs to contain a minimum of three entries by at least two different modelers.
